Volunteers of America's permanent supportive housing programs offer a combination of permanent community-based housing and ongoing supportive services to the economically disadvantaged, the homeless, the disabled (primarily persons who are seriously mentally ill, have chronic problems with alcohol, drugs, or both, or have AIDS and related diseases) and the families of such persons.
